Hello team!
Now that Sandy is over and done with. I'm gonna talk a bit about the past two days I worked. Sunday and today.
Sunday morning, I walked into a moderate men's close. I closed out a few things when I arrived at 7. I know we have to rush due to hours. But goodness gracious! At least try to make it nice. Nico, sets the standards and you are to follow them. If you are having an issue with the standards. Then come and see me and or Nico.
One of my all stars was out of commission. Tony, stay away from those oysters. No bueno! Which I had the chance to be alone in men's my entire shift! (Cedric, thanks again!) During that shift, I completed direction from Corey. Really standardized and filled. The floor was very light. I filled all jackets, some 513's, the very front table, obey denim and a bunch of caps and flannels. Then the emails began to come from Sandra and Corey. Me being the senior manager. I had to make sure our floor and backstock was prepared for any disaster! I placed the entire voop wall of varsity jackets and hoodies neatly on a rolling rack. Took down our salt valley wall and coats. Moved the entire women's shoe lounge over to men's. Moved all the women's and wacc to the breakroom. Our macc boxes are on the table in backstock.

Surprisingly, its not the shoes that have been down. Boots and athletic shoes are up and beating company. With a good comp! However, its socks and luggage that haven't been doing well. Also, we had jewelry last year. I will go over men's numbers tomorrow with a more thorough recap.
Today, I came in at 2. As part of the skeleton team. Along with Corey, Abby and Julia. Julia, helped me out in sale. As well as, closing out the floor. Which allowed me to fill our floor once again. As well as, the sale section with new markdown from backstock. We have a lot if sweaters on sale. I couldn't really get down, vile and dirty with marking them all. Because, I was on the floor. I did managed to get some out. I spot filled the CPO wall and the standard cloth table. Then spot filled until the last hour being 6pm. We closed at 7 and I was home by 8. Thanks to the buses working. Cabs are great! However, you appreciate mass transit. Well its a bus. So, its surface transit. That's all I remember for now.
On a side note!
-To the infamous ditchers of go backs. I know who you are!! I'm extremely lucky to have been working with our merchandising team leader. I learned a lot. I even got the eye now. We are lucky to have him working with us. These bad closes and displacement. Is becoming old and its not good. So, the closing manager will be walking the floor before you leave at night. This is what it comes down to. TIGHTEN UP, FOLK'S!!
