SALE?! WHAT?!

I didn't see the sense in posting yesterday since I opened yesterday as well as today. Between yesterday and today we got a lot of boxes. I've been in at 9 both mornings so Men's boxes didn't get touched too much. However I spent all of yesterday getting out basics and graphics. I was able to also get out the new Narrows sweater and placed the new Obey crew (all which were tagged). I initially wanted to continue tagging through my first couple hours but the men's boxes and the wacc and women's boxes got mixed up and the men's things were somewhat inaccessible. I pulled the samples for replen and placed product as well. Today no shipment went out. Instead I worked on mark downs and Andy and I worked on making room for new product in BS. Our solution? We consolidated the scraps of wood in the two fitting rooms down here into the last fitting room and placed boxes of sale into the front room. Now, where sale was once hanging, we can place jackets and possibly sweaters (all the product that takes up a lot of room). That way we can make room for those things on the staging bay and what we've received for the last two days.

I am hoping to be able to rework the denim table on Friday. All the 511s will lay out on one side and the 513s on the other, since we have received a good amount of 513s lately. I also want the shelving to correspond with what is laid out, so we'll see what happens on Friday.

The big sale roll out is tomorrow, which brings me to the new mark downs. They are complete all except BS and piecey items, so complete these tomorrow and get all the MACC sale onto the sale wall; some pegging may need to be done. I have left a bin of MACC sale for the wall on the bench in the break room place those as well. I think that is all.

I think Andy is going to organize the new space in our bays as he thinks is best, but if there are any suggestions or if he needs help within the next couple days, see to it that we do whatever is needed.
