A DAY IN MENS

Hello MENS DEPARTMENT


 From the previous blog post I was expecting a little direction to be left. We didn't get many boxes but I believe we got more than Womens. Many Being just replenishment. No shipment at all went out during my shift. (SORRY) We did have a visit today,Nothing major or concerning Mens. However  the day got a little bit busier than usual & earlier than usual. I had 3 different groups of (Nicks) come in and trash the graphics but they ended buying things anyway - clearly it was just a case of (The No Home Training's)

I was asked to work on the Indecision 2012 Set up which I admit I took a while getting inspired between customer service & maintaining the floor. Guys & ABBY we are light on merchandise that revolves around this set up but as it comes in feel free to add to the table. For now below is a picture of the set up I did with inspiration from the intranet. The Tanks are extremely light but try to not stray to far away from (VOTING,POLITICS etc.) when you fill in holes.

Id like to see mens making a dent in your back-stock..I got to walk through it and got familiar with whats on the floor and in back-stock..To help solve the space issue.. your tables are sort of (light)... Consolidate to make more space there's lots of opportunity on your floor. I found double represented merch and hidden merch that can all be filled. maybe try filling for an hour of the day? (things aside from graphics & Basics) Making sure PROPER Size runs are out. etc. Other than that I think the Mens floor is coming along well.

I Re-merched the OBEY Table today.I would have loved to have gotten a backpack on this table but I didn't know we had any. Please feel free to do so. Theres room on the back of this table to store under-stock; which frees up the face-outs the backpacks are on. I think you guys should maybe take a look at velocity MACC. & see what hats are doing well for us, Which ones aren't, As well as which ones should. Were are OVER ASSORTED WITH THEM. They are taking up valuable real-estate.

That was pretty much my day. Which was a good one.I give you guys credit for being down there its just as crazy as the fitting rooms. KUDOS to you all. keep up the HARD WORK. I'm Looking forward to working more with you all.

P.s I'm learning as well; most of the time I'm experimenting and I think that's what you guys need to do MORE of. But talk to me If I'm around I think bouncing ideas off each other is a healthy system to have.

I noticed above the Graphics the display is missing many shirts.. I think we can highlight more than whats up there as well as the basics tables. For some reason guys like to shop the display ?
