- As a Department, Mens did $26,000. We were +48% to company. We had the best comp in the NY Metro District. In other words, we owned that shit.
We only sold 5 of the BDG Contrast Tank that is on PROMO right now. This is probably because we don't have any sizes in it, but we will more than likely move it this week to try to encourage business there.
We only sold 2 of the Alternative Apparel two-tone henley. This is one of our most consistently selling items. If you have free time in Mens this week, please fold down the henleys onto the shelving, and hang the hoodies where the henleys are.
-214- Graphic Tees - $5800. +76% to company.
This amazing business in Graphics is PROOF that if the standards are at the level they need to be, we WILL make more money. We must stay consistent with this. EVERY DAMN DAY!
Just a little info on the Graphics we sold: Outcast Americana Tank, we sold 21!
Outcast Americana Tee, we sold 16!
-215- Wovens (Button Downs) - $4900. +6% to company.
Although I would've liked us to have a higher comp in Wovens, $4900 is not bad. We sold 11 of the HMG Pinpoint Oxford that is folded on the 4x7 in Zone 2. Once again, just keep the standards up with those, and I think we will see another positive comp this week. And don't forget to roll sleeves on hanging wovens!
-241- Basics - $2500. +20% to company.
Pretty impressive, considering how low our quantities are in Basics. Everyone did a great job this week getting the new styles out quickly, and making sure that the stacks were neat and organized. KEEP IT UP!
-221- Pants - $3700. +126% to company.
WOW! Great comp in pants! We did well in pretty much every style of pants we sell, except for the Stapleford Work Chino. I am considering switching these with the HMG Stretch Chino that is in Zone 2 near sale. I'll keep you guys posted on whether or not we are going to do this.
-222- Jeans - $1500. +54% to company.
Not that much money this week in Denim, but still a good comp. I really want us to focus on keeping the top of the Denim Bar FULL. It is way too light. Figure out which styles we have the most of, and those can go on top. The wall with 510s and 513s has been looking great, so let's keep it that way.
-225- Shorts - $4300. +53% to company.
We comped in every top 10 shorts except for the KOTO Linen Short. I personally believe it's because the shorts aren't cool, but, we still need to make them more visible to customers. Anyone have a suggestion?
As far as the MACC business goes, we did $5800, with a comp of 3%. Our usual sellers, hats, socks, and underwear did most of the business. So that means, replenish them! The more we have out, the more we sell!
Finally, I want to thank all of you guys for your hard work this past week. I saw great customer service downstairs, the standards are much improved, and I feel great about the Department.

Great job men's !
ReplyDelete- For the koto shorts i think we should hang them up together to show the colors like we did the 'all my friends' button downs and like we did to the 'Hawking McGill' shorts near the cpo wall.
if not that i think we should lay them out on top somewhere like we did to the promo Hawking McGill shorts. I don't know if they sold because of the price but that would show the different colors .
From customer experiences I think its hard for a customer to notice those shorts when they are folded on a shelf .
