Weekend Business

Hey guys,

Just wanted to talk about our plan for the Department going into the weekend. We have the additional 50% SALE shoes promotion this weekend, so make sure you are restocking the SALE shoes in the wall when they sell down. Aaron has made a easy to access SALE shoe location in backstock. If you can't find them....open your eyes!

As of Friday morning the department as a whole is -2% to LY (Last Year). We have $9,363 in, and only need to make $4608 by the end of the week to beat LY. On a good Saturday we can do $4,000 as a department, so I feel that we can definitely make that money on Friday & Saturday combined. The weather is supposed to be warmer on Saturday, so make sure you are:

* aware of where all the different styles of tanks are in the department.

* aware of where all the different styles of shorts are.

* suggesting brighter, more "Spring" colored items to the customer.

* able to speak to 2 to 3 specific items you think are great for the warmer weather.

I feel like if we are doing things right, we could do $8,000 in Mens on Saturday and crush LY.

I'm gonna go as far as to recommend a "Sun's Out Guns Out" Saturday. Do a few extra pushups, maybe a set of dumbell curls, rock that tank top or graphic t-shirt, and show customers how fresh Spring looks at UO Brooklyn.
