Sunday mid...

Hey guys wanted to give everyone a little breakdown of the week we just got through!

Men's department as a whole did very well, we where up 42% over LY (Last year) when the company was only up 29%! If you look at it by class we where up in almost every area as well:
1. Jeans (class #222) - $3,700 (+122%)
2. Pants (class #221) - $3,300 (+119%)

We are killing it with bottoms right now guys! Shorts did very well for us this week as well (up 157%!!). I feel like we've got great placement on where our plants / jeans are displayed and outfitted on our forms. Just remember how big these areas are for us going forward when your helping a customer; if we don't have what they need make sure we're suggesting something similar... Where up over 100% in all three classes, this is crazy!

3. Graphic Tees (class #214) - 3,000 (+50%)
Basic Tees (class #241) - 1,600 (+12%)
Woven Tops (class #215) - 2,300 (-14%)
Knit Tops (class #213) - 1,000 (-1%)

Our tops are a little bit of a mixed bag; we did well in top areas but dropped the ball in two other classes but not by much. Its good to see our customer is responding in full force to the new graphic tee styles but we we're having some issues getting them into our button ups (Woven tops, class #215) and our tank tops (Knit Tops, class #213)... Whose got some suggestions? The weather might have had something to do with it, it was a cold start to the week after all, but we also need to think about our part in this equation... Can we do more to feature some key products? Are stock levels good on the floor? Are the forms outfitted to highlight new and interesting products from these classes? Are we suggesting tops to all our customers coming in to check out are pants?

Over all guys it was a great week in mens and in MACC (myself or Seth will have a MACC post tomorrow) but lets use this blog to inspire and brainstorm on what we can do better every week. Every suggestion is important and everyones TEAMWORK makes us better!
