After a few weeks on Display I'm back in the mens department full time! Wanted to give you guys a quick blast on what we've got in the works for this week and beyond.
- First off the big push this week is going to be standards (folding, sizing, cleaning etc...) because we've got a very big visit coming up Wednesday with our regional managers. If you're reading this now then know Tuesday and Wednesday are all going to be about getting the department in as good a shape as humanly possible ... but that said Seth and myself would love for this to be a good chance for things to get in good shape and stay in good shape from here on in.
- Secondly if you haven't noticed its warming up (well this week isn't a great sign of that so far but ...) and our new shipment is starting to reflect the season. Tanks, shorts, breezy button ups and all in colors that scream spring / summer (we even have board shorts coming in guys!). We also got in a huge shipment of Toms on monday as well so sizes wont be as hard to come by as they were last week and remember if you're helping a woman looking for a size 9 or 10 in Toms and they can't be found don't forget to suggest men's Toms to her. I've been doing this and found that the narrow fit of the Toms design in general allows the men's 8's and 9's to be a good alternative for some woman... Of course use your best judgment in this area too! :)
Thats it for now guys but as always remember to make a few laps around the men's department every time you start a new shift downstairs and see the new changes and product. Knowing what we have and were it's housed is always key to helping our customer and getting those sales in.
